What you have is a beautifully illustrated box, with a memorable quote relating to the theme of that box - there is a 'Wish Pearl' box for almost every occasion or theme - angels, mother, friendship, love, celebration, blessings, faith, and more. Inside the box you will find a sealed can, inside which is a clam containing a pearl. There is also a pendant into which to place the pearl; and a chain from which to hang the pendant. The idea is that the recipient makes a wish before opening the can and removing the pearl to place into the necklace.
