PURCHASING ITEMS CONTAINING GLASS OR CERAMICS
We always make sure that all our items are well packed for transit. None of the delivery services we use will insure glass or ceramic items against damage, so unless you purchase our optional damage insurance, we are NOT LEGALLY LIABLE for any damage during transit.
ITEMS RECEIVED DAMAGED
If you have purchased our damage insurance and your item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately for further instructions and do not throw the item, or any packaging, away, until you have done so.
ITEMS NOT RECEIVED
If an item has not arrived after 2 weeks, you should go to www.royalmail.com and download a claim form for items lost in transit. We can then provide you with a copy of the proof of posting for the item, which you will need for Royal Mail to process your claim. Please note, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to place a claim - once we have dispatched the item, that is where our legal responsibility ends.
RETURNS POLICY
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you are entitled to return your item for a refund if you change your mind. However, this is subject to certain conditions, laid out below.
1. If you wish to return your item, you must inform us of your intention within seven days of receipt and we will provide you with a return address.
2. The item and any packaging must be in the same condition as it was when you received it.
3. The item must be securely packed and clearly labelled for return, and a proof of posting must be obtained, and retained until I inform you that I have received your item.
4. The Gift Shop reserves the right to levy a 25% handling/restocking charge.
5. No postage and packing paid will be refunded
6. Please kindly note that we are unable to accept returns of perishables/consumables and the like, such as make up, toiletries or edibles once the seal has been broken.
