Rustic and really interesting carved tree root basket, 22-25cm. Because these are individually carved from unique pieces of tree root, no two will be the same. The picture above is representative of a typical basket, but the one you receive will differ both in shape and in the characteristics of the wood - grain, colour, knots etc. The wood will often contain knots, holes, bark incursions, and pits. That is all part of the charm - each one is a one-off, where the craftsman has used the innate qualities of the wood to best effect. Very tactile, and great decorative features.
