It stands around a dinky 10 inches high so it doesn't take up too much space, and the metal base and matching cap are a smart brushed steel effect. The liquid is a deep clear blue and the lava is actually white, but of course, in a blue liquid, the colour will seem to change from creamy white (when the lava is at the bottom of the bottle next to the light) to a paler blue as it rises within the bottle.
