Beautiful Grande Lava Aquarium Lamp 27"

This is just a WONDERFUL lamp! Made by Lava Brand, it stands about 27" high. It's an all-in-one unit, apart from the metal cap,which you place on the top. The base and top are metal, and the bottle is glass. At the top of the bottle is a rubber plug, like you find on the bottom of a piggy bank, which you remove and fill with distilled water, leaving about a 2" gap at the top. (Full instructions are included of course.) Inside the bottle you place a selection of little fish, and, when switched on, the lamp generates a good stream of bubbles inside, which causes the fish to move around. On the bottom of the base is a switch which adjusts the colour of the light glowing inside. Use of distilled water / deionised water rather than tap water is recommended

Because the bubbles are produced by a motor, this lamp does not run totally silently - I have one on display in my shop and I hadn't noticed the sound amongst normal everyday sounds, but when there is no other sound, you do hear the motor running, a bit like the sound of a fishtank filter running, if that helps anyone!
